Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens: grossing, embedding, microtomy, and staining
• Perform IHC and special stains with precision and efficiency
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with dermatopathologists and lab teammates
• Monitor and maintain lab instruments and supplies

Qualifications

• HT or HTL (ASCP) certification, or eligibility to sit for boards within 12 months
• Experience with microtomes, auto stainers, and embedding centers
• Comfortable using LIS and EMR systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with lab setup

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting
