As a full-time Clinical Administrative Assistant, you are a part of a collaborative team supporting our dermatology practice. In this clerical role, you will be on-site, 35-40 hours, 5 days weekly. Compensation: $17-$20 an hour, dependent on experience.

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks (among others):

• eRx: managing and filling refill requests (60 a day)
• eLab: reviewing the eLab queue, matching lab results to patients, and resolving urgent issues (30 a day)
• Fax distribution: reviewing fax que, distributing faxes to the appropriate individuals/ques, and resolving urgent issues. (150 a day)
• Inventory management: manage and maintain the general dermatology inventory
• Mail Processing: shipping and receiving, including cold deliveries

You are a detailed-oriented, proactive, initiative-taking individual who enjoys working in the healthcare environment. You have basic typing skills along with being computer savvy. You understand the need for and have an appropriate sense of discretion by ensuring compliance with all HIPPPA regulations. You are able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. You have the ability to work as a team member; manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excel under pressure; and able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all your interactions with others.

Our Bucktown Practice is a modern and fast-paced practice well-known for its extensive offerings of skincare treatments, high standard of services, excellent quality of patient care, and diverse team of exceptional individuals. It is located in the newly retrofitted Elston Corridor in the Bucktown neighborhood, at 1765 N. Elston Avenue.
