Scott L. Zahner, MD, MS, FAAD, MDS, and Melanie L. Zahner, MD, MS, FAAD, MDS, board-certified dermatologists, are looking for an experienced physician assistant to join their team at Aesthetic and Clinical Dermatology Associates (ACDA), a VitalSkin affiliate, with offices in St. Charles and Hinsdale, IL. The ideal candidate is a professional, dependable, adaptable and humble team player, and have 2+ years of dermatology experience.
This is a full-time position that will work equal time in St. Charles and Hinsdale, IL offices.

Specific Responsibilities
Perform a variety of general and surgical dermatology procedures under physician supervision.
Communicate changes in patient conditions to physician.
Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, families and other healthcare personnel, while assuring confidentiality of patient information.
Record patient’s health history in an electronic medical record system.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited PA program and successful completion of PANCE exam.
PA licensure in the state where employed.
2+ years of dermatology experience as a PA
Must have prescriptive authorization.
Communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, physicians and representatives of the community.
Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
Be positive, open and flexible to learning new skills for various procedures.
Maintain license through ongoing continuing medical education credits as required.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working at a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
