Medical Assistant | Mattoon, IL

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow their healthcare careers—especially pre-med and science graduates. Prior medical experience is a plus! In this role, you will our dermatology providers by:

• Scribing and assisting during medical and cosmetic procedures

• Educating and communicating with patients

• Ensuring efficient, high-quality, comprehensive care

• Adherence to clinical standards

Full-time | On-site| Comp: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year dermatology or cosmetic surgery experience

• 2+ years customer service experience

• Strong computer skills; EMR experience (ModMed EMA preferred)

• Medical Assistant certification and scribing experience preferred

• CPR/BLS and Bloodborne Pathogen certification preferred

You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and professional, with strong communication skills and a passion for patient care. You handle sensitive situations with discretion and comply with HIPAA regulations.
